If you choose to include our i-FDR Flexidry depackaging system at the start of the process, packaged food waste can be included in the system feed. This innovative technology carefully separates the packaging from the organic food waste, leaving two viable recycling streams. How it works

iD-R-5K is a compact anaerobic digestion system designed to process organic waste on-site across many environments. Unlike conventional farm-based AD, our iD-R-5K is a high solids (dry) processor which is highly efficient and well-suited to medium to large scale waste producers.

Equipped with a load buffer system sized to accommodate, the continual process of anaerobic digestion converts organic matter into biogas which can be deployed in several ways. The primary use of the biogas is conversion-to-renewable energy via the integral CHP unit which outputs electricity, heat and hot water.

The post-process digestate is extracted from the system via a pasteurisation module which results in a PAS110-compliant organic fertiliser suitable for land application. This can be as a single component or as a two-component output (dry and liquid).

The whole process is automated and designed to operate continuously and be integrated with your existing infrastructure to maximise efficiencies and processes with minimal operator input.
